INTERIOR DESIGN | PRODUCT DESIGN | SET DESIGN |PROP STYLIST and more
My dance shoes are a constant whirl of movement as I ransack ideas borrowed from the worlds of design, expert pastry and cake makers, fashion, art and venue interior design – fast-switching from corporate identity to illustration and back again.
I am restless in my relentless search for curious ideas that let you perceive objects from different perspectives; I like to create unexpected places like shops built enterely from cardboard, colorful and energetic interior projects, ironic things like tables and things made from sugar; flexible, bendy items such as the chest-of-drawers made from fabric that can be dismantled and tremendous light installations made with origami, crystals and hand made objects.
After graduating in Industrial design at Milan Polytechnic and getting a Master from the Domus Academy, I escape to NY to find sources of inspiration. There I start to work in the worlds of fashion and design as a trend setter and soon learn the importance of hopping and skipping from one context to another, from one place to the next. I go on – first to London, then Sydney and Tokyo.
I work for publications such as Glamour, style.it, Mood, Elle Decor, Bunte as a prop stylist and photographer. As a interior designer for clubs, restaurants, shops; I set myself up as a cake designer in Australia and as a window dispay designer in U.S.
